The Problem

Following a stakeholder restructuring, Carlom required a renewed strategic direction capable of modernizing the company without disconnecting from the industrial credibility and recognition built since 1966. The company operated across multiple product and application areas, but lacked a structured commercial architecture capable of clearly segmenting markets, organizing communication, and supporting specialized positioning across distinct industries and buyer profiles. As a result, commercial presentation lacked coherence across sectors, limiting differentiation and reducing the strategic clarity of the company’s expanding offer.

What We Did

nineyards led the strategic modernization of the Carlom brand and commercial ecosystem. We redesigned the company identity, creating a new brand system that preserved recognisable elements of the original logo while introducing a more contemporary and structured visual language aligned with the company’s future direction. The intervention included a new website, institutional materials, and full stationery redesign to establish consistency across all communication touchpoints. At commercial level, we worked closely with the internal sales team to restructure how Carlom approached different industries and market segments. We developed a dedicated sub-brand architecture including Carlom Footwear, Carlom Safety, Carlom Performance, Carlom Automotive, Carlom Orthomedic, and Home & Contract. Each division received its own positioning structure, communication logic, stationery system, A4 presentation materials, and physical sample books, allowing the company to approach specialized sectors with greater clarity, professionalism, and strategic cohesion.

Impact

Carlom transitioned from a traditional textile manufacturer into a more structured multi-segment industrial brand with clearer commercial organization and stronger market positioning. The implementation of sector-specific sub-brands enabled the company to communicate more effectively across specialized industries while maintaining coherence under a unified parent architecture. The new system improved commercial presentation, reinforced internal alignment, and created a scalable framework for future expansion into additional sectors and product categories.
